Mom finally did it! On my exact 8 month birthday February 20, 2007 we went to the mall and I got my ears pierced. It took her hours of walking around to get up enough nerve to do it..but she did. There was a baby 6 weeks old getting hers done right before me and she screamed for a second and all done. Mom said I only screamed for a minute too but I was very mad about the way she was holding my arms down so I couldn't move. I am not big on confinement. She was glad when it was all over and said I screamed worse when I got shots. Boy they sure are cute on me!
This month was pretty mellow. Mom worked a few days for Aunt Patty so she could go to Florida with Mamaw Fleta and I stayed at Aunt Kim's. That is were I always stay when Mom fills in for Patty.
We celebrated Kalie's 1st Birthday with lunch together. Happy 1st Birthday Kalie Marie! Mom also noticed that by the 7th of March I was saying Momma very well. Of course, Dadda came a week or so later. BUT.....Daisy (Dazzey) was before either one! Believe it or not...
