On April 29, 2007..Mom, Mamaw Fleta, Daisy Mae, and I attended The Indianapolis Humane Society's Annual Mutt Strut. The fundraiser has a $25.00 entry per person fee and the proceeds go to help the animals at The Humane Society. They have a blessing of the animals, walk around the oval with your dog, many vendors, and concession stand open. There is also someone that can microchip your pet for you and a caricature person drawing pictures of you and your pet. Mom and Mamaw have went every year since it started with the exception of last year when she was pregnant and 5 weeks from delivery. This was my first year and I had a blast watching all the people and dogs. Mom says I was a good girl but Daisy Mae decided half way around the track that she didn't want to finish the walk..so Mom had to carry all 18 pounds of her the rest of the way while Mamaw pushed me. Silly Princess Daisy Mae! Doesn't she know that she is a dog?
